12 Bar Blues Beginner Course
What it is
A course designed for beginner guitarists that teaches you how to play the 12 Bar Blues progression in the key of A. You will learn the progression itself, along with the turnaround, the blues shuffle, how to use chords in the progression, variations on the standard shuffle and how to mix these things all together. The course includes backing tracks and specific challenges for each lesson.
Who is it for?
This course if for you if you have never played the 12 Bar Blues before, or if you are a beginner guitarist looking for a focused goal that will help you progress as a player. This course is suitable for all ages and styles of guitar.

About Your Teacher
Simon Powis is a highly skilled educator. He does have a doctorate in music from Yale University, performed on some of the great stages (and dingy bars) around the world and has several recordings across multiple styles. But most importantly for you, he has a great deal of experience working with adult beginner guitarists from all over the world.
